“ «Kingdom of Misery»: Die Umrisse einer ausgebrannten Welt, erstarrt in ewiger Dämmerung, nehmen Gestalt an. Alles Helle verwandelt sich endgültig in Asche, und der morgige Tag verbirgt sich hinter dem Horizont und macht endlosem Schatten Platz. Das Gefühl des Verlustes wird zur einzigen Realität, wenn die Vergangenheit als erschreckendes Echo zurückkehrt und die Gegenwart die Brust mit kalten Zangen zusammendrückt.

Vor uns entfaltet sich eine Ästhetik des Zerfalls, in der rostige Kronen die Köpfe jener krönen, die in ihrer eigenen Hölle gefangen sind. Leere und Reue verflechten sich zu einem festen Knoten und zwingen dazu, die Unausweichlichkeit des Falls in den Abgrund unter schweren Wolken anzuerkennen. Alte Särge auf totem Gras und lautloser Regen zeichnen das Ende jeder Hoffnung.

Es ist Zeit, mit dieser eisigen Leere allein zu bleiben.
